STEVE-O: THE ENTIRELY TOO MUCH INFO TOUR: Who needs “Jackass 3-D” when you can get Steve-O in 4-D? So check out Goodnight's Comedy Club this week as the resident “Jackass” brings a little “tmi” to the Triangle — adding candor to his list of fearless feats as he ponies up some sincere deets on his carousing capers. But given he’s survived a decade of decadence, drug abuse and death-defying antics — topped off with that recent night in the Canadian cage and six weeks of “Dancing with the Stars” — this rabble rouser can clearly survive anything. Talk about self-abuse. When: Thursday through Sunday, times vary. Starting at $33.75. More info

NATTY GREENE’S RALEIGH ONE-YEAR ANNIVERSARY PARTY: A lot’s happened in the last year or so. I mean, can you even imagine life without your iPad? Of course, Apple could slap an ‘i’ on Poo and make it sexy. But try to ditch the fab-app gadget for a night, go unplugged and ‘cache’ in on the brewmaster’s birthday. The first-year froth fest will include plenty of pints, eats and beats, with music by live bands Old Habits, Dangermuffin and Hobex. When: Saturday: 5 p.m.-2 a.m. No cover. More info

FOURTH-ANNUAL GOLF TOURNEY FUNDRAISER: We know. There’s a part of you that always wanted to play the green like Happy Gilmore. Now’s your chance to wedge the gap and shed some happy on others via the Engineers Without Borders @ NCSU fairway fundraiser (at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course), propping up water sanitation in Bolivia and Sierra Leone, and renewable energy in Sierra Leone. So putt it up to help purify the planet. … Just don’t lose your golf hand to a gator. When: May 1, 9 a.m. $110 individual; $200 a pair; $360 foursome; $70 for students. More info

THIRD-ANNUAL RUN FOR OUR HEROES: Everybody wants to be a hero. Few ever are. So if you can’t be a hero, you might as well run for one. This Saturday, pound the pavement for area police and take foot for the fallen. … Playin’ the part of family man (er, or woman)? The tots can be troopers too and paw up with the McGruff Crime Dog Kids’ Dash. Double up on the do-goodin’ by bringing non-perishable foodstuffs, as “Run for Our Heroes” has joined up with Interfaith Food Shuttle for tornado victims. Down Tobacco Road, Dirty D’ers can beat the dusty trail for babes at the March of Dimes Triangle March for Babies at Imperial Center. When: Heroes walk: April 30, 8:30 a.m More info | Triangle March for Babies: April 30, 10 a.m., free. More info

EARTH DAY FEST: Eco is chic. That works out well for the Bull City’s planet-pampering party. So, go green with 5,000 of your closest friends and dig in to a day of earthy festivities—from music and food, to markets and expos, to the this year’s addition of Bull City Open Streets, a version of Colombia’s ‘ciclovía,’ where 70 miles of Bogota’s streets are shut down on Sundays and opened to biking, walking and physical activity. BCOS is one of NC’s first such events. Not fearing becoming a hood ornament sounds like a good excuse to hit the open road. Either way, the whole shebang so beats donning floral face paint and learning about recycling while planting a tree like you probably did in middle school. When: May 1, noon - 5 p.m. 501 Foster St. More info
