THE CARTER BUILDING ALLIANCE ARTISTS: "Small Works," 6 - 9:30 p.m. Exhibit runs through May 30 in The Carter Building Lower Gallery.
"Art that is small enough to hold in your hand is like a secret, there's a one on one conversation between the viewer and the art. I enjoy having small pieces of art around. I find that I stop and pick them up when things in my day get hectic, they help me remember to slow down and 'breathe' if only for a few minutes."
